FOR THE ANCARES |
It
is the longest route that in fact takes us from end to tail of
The Ancares. This route that we will carry out leaving of the
area leonesa - it can be carried out in inverse sense -, it

-, the fauna and vegetation.

OF OZA |
Route
of the monasteries:
Leaving of Molinaseca goes into in the valley of Oza for San
Esteban of Valdueza (Roman bridge), crossing Valdefrancos and

begin the ascent toward the towns more importances of the valley,

Route
of the Morredero:
From Molinaseca made The Neighborhoods of Rooms (splendid
traditional architecture). The highway begins until San Cristóbal
of Valdueza to whose entrance is the Disk more vetusto of León,
around the a thousand years. We go by Bouzas (popular
constructions) to arrive to the Morredero, with their winter
station located in the high estribaciones of the Pick Teleno
2.188 m.

ALREDEDORES:
El Acebo:
To 9,5 Km. on the way to Santiago mentioned in XII Century, to 1.200
m. of altitude in whose entrance is the famous trout source and in its
church, an image of Santiago of Romanic style.
Compludo:
To 14 Kms. in this place Sant Fructuoso it built, in the Century VII,
the first of his monasteries, "el complutense". The Forge of
Compludo would be with probability attributed to the monastery.
Riego
de Ambrós:
To 6,1 Kms. it also had pilgrims' hospital and today is a full place
of millennial chestnut trees.
Ponferrada:
To 6 Km. capital of the Bierzo, in a promontory on the forks of the
Sil and Boeza rivers, is today the ideal starting point to come closer
