Las Médulas:
They are the remains of the biggest of all open-cast gold mines
that the Romans exploited. That is the result of the man, the
time and the nature. Romans used water mining technique and
gives this incredible place.
Declared World Heritage list by UNESCO in 1998.
Los Ancares and Fornela:
Los Ancares are a Natural Area in the north west in León.
For its nature, architecture and traditions there are the ideal
refuge for everyone that try to go out from the urban life and
introduce into a very near past.
The
Bierzo Monumental:
.The centuries of history have provided a great number of monuments
that resiste during all this years. Churches, monasteries or
castles are an example of our past and of the style of life
that was dominating in this times.
La Tierra de las Brañas:
Laciana, Babia, Somiedo ... a very near places from our house,
another reason to visit us.
Rivers and mountains made this lands in which the piornos, holly,
beechand heather grow in this forest specilly in the lovely
autumn light.
El Valle del Silencio (Silence Valley):
A place where the spiritual and the Nature mix together to create
the Valle del Silencio (Silence Valley).
This place was monks refuge that try to find in the beauty of
this land, a place for his monasteries. We emphasize the nice
and amazing village Santiago
de Peñalba.
Villafranca del Bierzo:
Villafranca del Bierzo is a few kilometers to Trabadelo in the
middle of the Route to Santiago, to much people calling the
"Little Compostela".
Villafranca is a small village and one of the loveliest towns,
with many and important monuments and paved streets that remember
us that you must to live the Route here to live it.
The Bierzo West:
Vega de Valcarce, Oencia, or Corullón remenber to us that this
land has rivers with many trouts in its.
Other places like Arnadelo or Arnado are a cradle of the Foundries,
implanted in The Bierzo from C. XVth taking the adventage of
the abundance of water courses and the mining industry of the
iron. One of the most interenting places is the Peña
del Seo (Rock of the Seo), exploited by the Germans during the
World War II.

You can go to other interesting places for the good situation
of Trabadelo beside A 6 railcar and N VI.
La Maragatería, la Cabrera or Picos de Europa are a good places
to visit in porvince of León.
